Tips for Small Bathrooms
Utilize all the space corners.
Consider installing shelving in the corners. For a small bathroom, corners provide much-needed extra space and allow you to implement unique bathroom storage solutions.
Streamline your bathroom fixtures.
Replace old faucets, toilets, and tubs with space-saving models designed to make the most of small spaces. Choose a sliding shower door or shower screen to create the perception of even more space.
Stick with solid colors.
Keep prints light and to a minimum. Busy patterns can overpower and appear to shrink the space, while light and natural tones typically lend an open, spacious feel.
Downsize the vanity.
Save space – real and perceived – by installing a smaller vanity coupled with a pedestal sink or a smaller wall-mounted sink. If you choose to forego a vanity, add shelving to make up for lost storage.
